Marble Restoration
Across the Gulf Coast

Marble restoration for dull marble, scratches, etching, lippage, worn floors, damaged countertops, and full refinishing needs across New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, the Northshore, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Restoration for Damaged, Etched, Scratched, or Uneven Marble

Marble restoration is the deeper corrective service for stone that simple cleaning and sealing will not fix. If the marble has acid etching, dull traffic lanes, scratches, lippage, chips, or a finish that needs to be rebuilt, Stone Trends uses diamond abrasives, honing, polishing, and repair techniques to bring the surface back.

This is different from marble cleaning and sealing, which is maintenance for stone that is mostly intact. It is also different from MORE® AntiEtch®, which protects marble countertops from future acid etching after the surface is corrected.

For New Orleans and Gulf Coast homes, hotels, bars, restaurants, and commercial spaces, we start with the actual surface. Sometimes the right answer is light maintenance. Sometimes restoration saves stone that would be expensive and disruptive to replace.

Restoration Scope

  • Damage: scratches, etching, lippage, dullness
  • Methods: honing, polishing, refinishing, repairs
  • Surfaces: floors, counters, showers, vanities
  • Decision: restore when cleaning and sealing is not enough
