MORE® AntiEtch® Treatment for Slidell Homes & Businesses

After Katrina, a lot of Slidell homes were rebuilt with upgraded finishes. We see plenty of granite and marble that's now 15-20 years old and due for its first professional restoration.

Tired of babying your marble? MORE® AntiEtch® is a game-changing treatment that makes your marble virtually immune to etching from acids — wine, lemon juice, vinegar, tomato sauce, you name it. It also provides stain protection, and it's backed by a lifetime manufacturer guarantee. As certified applicators, we ensure the treatment is applied correctly for maximum protection. Your marble, finally worry-free.

Slidell's bayou-adjacent location and the salt air off Lake Pontchartrain create a uniquely harsh environment for natural stone — especially outdoor installations. That's part of why professional-grade restoration and sealing matters here more than in drier climates.

In Slidell, we work on waterfront homes in Eden Isles, established brick homes throughout town, and post-Katrina rebuilds with modern stone finishes. Each type of property has its own stone care challenges, and we've seen them all.

MORE® AntiEtch® FAQ

What exactly does MORE® AntiEtch® do?

It's a treatment that penetrates the marble surface and creates a chemical barrier against acid etching. Lemon juice, wine, vinegar, tomato sauce — things that would normally leave dull marks on marble — just wipe off. It also protects against staining. The treatment doesn't change how the marble looks or feels.

Is the MORE® AntiEtch® guarantee really for life?

Yes. MORE Surface Care backs the treatment with a lifetime manufacturer guarantee against etching and staining when applied by a certified technician. That's us. If you get an etch mark after treatment, we come back and fix it at no charge.

Can MORE® AntiEtch® be applied to existing marble?

Absolutely. We apply it to both new installations and existing marble surfaces. If your marble has existing etch marks or damage, we restore it first — honing, polishing, getting it back to perfect — then apply the AntiEtch treatment. Best of both worlds.

Why can't I just buy a marble sealer from the hardware store?

Standard sealers protect against stains but do nothing against acid etching — which is the main problem with marble. AntiEtch is a completely different technology. It's not available retail and can only be applied by certified professionals because the application process requires specific surface preparation.
